Adam’s Dilemma…..Can u HELP him Solve it??

‘Trringg….trrringgg…..’ the phone rang. “Hello, who’s speaking?” asked Adam. “Suresh here. Hi….wassup? What r u doing?” said the caller. Adam replied,” Well just watching TV n doing some Time Pass. What about you??” “Well Adam, I was quite bored sitting home. What if we go n have a stroll somewhere?”. Adam replied out of excitement,”Yess Why not?? Sure!!!”. “Ok then, Adam….catch you in 20 mins.bye..” said Suresh n hung up the phone. Somewhere down the heart Adam was very happy as an opportunity came to him to spend some time with his best friend Suresh.

Adam & Suresh were studying at Majestic College of Technology. They had been together since their first semester of their degree course. For last two n half years they were together. They have a good friend circle consisting of some good friends like Meenakshi, Ajay, Sushil, Charudutt, Nikita, Sheetal & Ramola. They were like nine jewels. They had some nice trips…enjoyed a lot on various occasions like Diwali, Holi, etc. They had great fun during Ganesh Festival at Ajay’s place while they had Christmas Celebrations at Adam’s house. Charudutt and Sheetal were committed and all was fine with them. Touchwood !!! Ramola was a happening girl and leader of the group along with Sushil who was also one to take initiatives in the group activities. In all the group was rocking n happening group of Majestic.

“Hi Adam, how r u?” asked Suresh as they entered the Joggers Park in their area. “Me fine as usual.” Said Adam. “ Well did you watch the Arsenal v/s MANU last night?” asked Adam. “Sure….How on earth can I miss that match where Arsenal kicks the butts of the Red Devils!!!”.Suresh said on which Adam reacted” Ohh!! Common…Manchester United is the Best team. They are the Ultimate champions. They just give chance to others to win some small matches….That’s their strategy….You Know!!!” Suresh laughed out loudly saying “Joke of the Millennium dude….hahaha….what a joke!!!”

Adam watched Suresh laughing heartily. He observed Suresh as he was talking to him, his gestures, etc. Suddenly from somewhere a voice came “ Hi Adam….Hi Suresh…What r u guys doing here?” Adam turned & found that it was Ramola. Ramola stayed nearby n was out for some reason when she met them. Suresh n Ramola were quite a good friends. They usually talked over the phone for minutes n minutes…n then b surprised over the bill at the end of the month. Here also as Ramola came in…somewhere Suresh found his boredom completely going away as he sat with Adam & Ramola. Lots of chit chatting. But Ramola being a girl supposed to be tom-boyish…n modern….talks n talks a lot… Poor Adam…who as such can’t take over Ramola’s voice….& in addition Suresh who also talks a lot.

But in all this type of scenarios may it b with other friends or so, somewhere Adam is lost always. He observes as Suresh talks & interacts with others. Suresh has been somewhat an ideal for Adam, due to his confidence. But somewhere this idealistic observation was turning into an attraction down the time. Somewhere Adam found himself more comfortable with Suresh than others. It is not that Adam is an abnormal person or in straight terms a Gay. He is attracted towards girls also. But then that doesn’t mean bisexuality as it’s only Suresh who attracts him not the other guys. When he is away from him, Adam thinks about Suresh frequently, he can’t think anything against Suresh whatever happens, even if Suresh is on wrong side.

Somewhere Adam is also aware of this unspoken attraction towards Suresh. He is also curious about this thing. He wants to know what is it due to which he is attracted to Suresh more than a girl. His thoughts with Suresh sometimes go wild also. I hope You get the meaning!!!

Well Somewhere I had read in a vernacular magazine where a doctor said many people face such dilemma where they are attracted towards the person or friend of same gender.
Adam is also facing a similar dilemma. But the doctor also said that this is temporary. This thing phases out as time passes.

Adam is actually in a big dilemma and cant stand this fact now as it burdens him a lot. He wants to speak about it to Suresh but he is afraid that Suresh might not like it and takes him wrongly and out of the misunderstanding he might part ways from Adam. But as time is passing somewhere he feels relieved that this state of mind is gradually decreasing. His attraction towards Suresh is reducing bit by bit. But he is unable to keep in the fact to himself. He wants to speak out to Suresh but is unable to do so.

Adam doesn’t want to lose his best buddy at any cost & atleast not for this silly thing. He cares for him & even Suresh considers Adam as his Best friend.

Adam is in great dilemma. What Do You Think Adam should do?? How would you react if you were Suresh, & Adam discloses the fact? Will You part ways from Adam or help him come out of it as he is your best friend?

P.S : Hey People, if possible please reply to the questions put in the end. Put them as the comments below. Thank You!!!

English or Indian or the Anglo – Indian.............

Well don’t think that I am here to compare the English & the Indian Cultures. Yes but a common aspect in both which is practiced in different ways can be compared as a fun though. WHAT ASPECT???? Can u guess??

Never mind if u cannot. The other day myself & one of my friend were discussing about the new place we were about to go, the rooms of the Infosys’ campus & all. At that time another friend just queried if the restrooms or what we commonly call as “toilets” will be common for all. Well a thoughtful & worried question. The fact is restrooms are attached to the rooms. The specialty being that they will contain Commodes, the English Toilets.

Ahhhh!!!!! I saw a friend being uncomfortable to it as he probably being unused to the English style.

So that’s the point or aspect of comparisons. Toilets are used by people from English cultures & Indians definitely use it, many roadside or railway track-side people giving greatest ever proof for that. The style used is different, though the universal task done is the very same.

Now-a-days many comfort seeking people go for the English style as its very comfortable where u just sit & yes u can also practice multitasking…..like one might read newspaper or some novels or do any other possible task. But the Indian style doesn’t give this comfort….ya but one good point is that we get good exercise for our limbs & thighs in it. Also the Indian style seems to be more natural, isn’t it?? I wonder what the English people used to do before th

e commodes were even invented. Where did they sit??? The Indian style doesn’t need any toiletries, you can just go anywhere in the nature, as it is you are attending Nature’s call…….

Each has an advantage, so what to do??? Y not to have a commode and use the Indian Style….as it is nobody sees when u do tht in a close room…...So Anglo – Indian Style can b thought of….isnt it.?? A patriotism in the foreigner style……!!!! What say??

THE POWER OF INTUITION………….

Well quite often I have heard some people on TV or even in real life saying that “My Intuition says……” or “My Gut feeling asks me to do so n so…..”, etc.

The point of my concern is the word “INTUITION” or what some people call it as “Gut feeling” or “The Sixth Sense”. Today at the eve of the new beginning of my life, when I look back I realize that this concept of Intuition had a role-play in my life, may it be in small ignorable issues or so, but it was present. I wonder from where did it come. What is that one thing that gives me indication of what is going to happen in near future.

Ya, I agree that I used to have gut feelings at many small & big occasions of my life. I was ignorant about it but gradually realized that it has to be taken seriously. The other day I had a Google search on Intuition. I got some piece of information. Also I had seen some people on TV sharing their experiences & also read some articles in the Newspapers. All of them fascinated me.

Well before I tell you what info I got from Google, let me share some of my experiences first.

I remember the day when my 10th standard results were to be declared. That morning a sudden fear entered my heart prompting me of something unexpected to happen & the result was too low than my expectation putting tears in my eyes. Somewhere when I was struggling to get admissions a ray of hope came from somewhere saying that “DON’T WORRY, EVERYTHING GONNA BE OK SOMEDAY”. I got admissions n proceeded.

Two years later during my 12th std results I didn’t keep any expectations at all & my heart said “BE HAPPY. Now the TIME has COME”. Yes the results were something I never thought of actually. I got into engineering which actually I didn’t want to.

The four years of my engineering were really nice & my success graph was increasing exponentially though gradually. During this period, when I studied for my exams I remember guessing some questions & topics that would be asked in the exams….n to my fascination they actually appeared.(The most probable questions were easy to b guessed, but the one which rarely appeared in exams n guessing such questions n having a chance to answer them in exams is a different case). Well there were quite few more incidents of this type which like me one might ignore.

BUT I couldn’t ignore this thing when myself n my friends went through the Phase called “Campus Placements”. I wondered how I could guess about the placements. Not only for myself but few of my friends.( though I never told them seriously because I myself wasn’t so sure) . I remember I told a friend that I might be placed in the company I didn’t want to b in……unexpectedly I cleared the aptitude test, the first ever interview of my life n got into Infosys Technologies.(CAN U IMAGINE!!!!) arrrggh!! I was irritated for that. I had told a friend of mine about his n some other people’s placements also....which actually occurred.

After my Engineering. I tried for seeking admissions to MBA…got a pretty good score in entrance test…..but I had the sense that my destiny is to go to Infosys only. Still I tried in vain for MBA.

Well some of the things would sound silly to many…but I know the seriousness in them.

Some definitions I found on Google were like : -

“Intuition is a combination of historical (empirical) data, deep and heightened observation and an ability to cut through the thickness of surface reality. Intuition is like a slow motion machine that captures data instantaneously and hits you like a ton of bricks. Intuition is a knowing, a sensing that is beyond the conscious understanding — a gut feeling. Intuition is not pseudo-science.” Abella Arthur

It says that Intuition comes from some past experiences. An article in TOI said that brain sub-consciously analyses data n gives the facts that are accurate often citing an example of a car-racing candidate who applied brakes intuitively to avoid a serious accident. The analysis of his brain done by experts said that he noticed sub-consciously some people in audience, their strange reactions which indicated a danger ahead n he did needful.

I agree that some of my experiences can be reasoned from these points. But what how did my brain know about my placements, coz in this case there wasn’t any empirical data present in my mind that could yield this outcome.

I feel really strange that what lies behind this power. Why have I got such power in me that helps me, guides me quite often, gives me strength to move on in bad times.

Is it the ALMIGHTY that gave it to me? Can this POWER OF INTUITION be useful really as it yields the most accurate results??

I haven’t yet found perfect answers & still remain in wonderment about this thing. Well if this is a Power that can be really helpful then I am HAPPY to have this POWER in Me. I would thank The Almighty as He gave me this power & would pray that He would guide me to make the ethical & Good Use of This Power & also I would feel lucky enough if my POWER of INTUITION can be useful for the tasks allotted by HIM to me.

Thank You!!!
